inFor sports Wengen and the Jungfrau region offer you plenty of possibilities. In the summer you can go walking, Nordic Walking, play mini golf, tennis, take part at the jungfrau marathon, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, glacier touring, trotti biking, paragliding, skydiving, rafting, canyoning. When it is suffocatingly hot you can even go swimming in the refreshing glacier water of the Thuner- or Brienzersee or do watersports. If you feel like spoiling yourself, you will find endless wellness and beauty facilities at Club-Hotel Victoria-Lauberhorn (www.victoria-lauberhorn.ch) or at the Beausite Park Hotel (www.parkwengen.ch) in Wengen. During winter there are also, although less, walking and hiking paths, as well as wonderful skiing slopes, sledge runs, ice skating and curling. Anyone that likes snow will be entertained! The village of Wengen is situated in the Jungfrau ski region which is divided into three adjacent skiing areas of First, Männlichen-Kleine Scheidegg and Schilthorn. Wengen itself is situated in the biggest of the three, the Männlichen-Kleine Scheidegg skiing area and is famous for its "Lauberhorn Rennen" in January. If you wish to have a rest day from winter sports, the mountain resorts can be easily accessed by train or cable car (Kleine Scheidegg (6762 ft/ 2061 m), First (7114 ft/ 2168 m), Männlichen (7317 ft/ 2230 m), Schilthorn-Piz Gloria (9745 ft/ 2971 m) and Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe (11333 ft/ 3454 m) -
